I started my journey looking for a great tasting coffee that didn’t give me ‘gut rot’ after my 2nd cup. Far too often I had looked into my cup of freshly poured coffee to see an oil film pooled at the center, this is what was giving me my indigestion.

Was it possible to find a low acidic coffee that had strong aromas, great flavor and no ‘gut rot’ after my 2nd cup? I finally found the answer here in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The Kona bean belt and its sister Ka’u District grow some of the world’s best full flavored coffee beans that make what I believe to be the best tasting low acidity coffee found anywhere I’ve travelled across the globe. As a result, I started Mojo Kona Coffee Co. to further explore, produce and package the best tasting artisan coffee available.
